In this video I’m breaking down what a flight attendant work schedule actually looks like at a regional airline, because I feel like “scheduling” is one of those things people hear about but don’t really understand until you’re living it. I walk you through reserve life—what it is, how it works, and why it can feel unpredictable when you’re on call and waiting to see if (and when) you’ll be used. If you’re researching the job or you’re newly hired, this is the stuff I wish someone had explained to me in plain language. I also share my personal experience having a line (aka holding a set schedule), and how that compares to reserve. I talk about what felt easier, what felt more stressful, and what you can realistically expect as a new regional flight attendant when you’re learning the system.
