In this run I finally cleared Expert Rival Tags Eternal Road, and I did it using the development/other (basically F2P/farmable) units. The big idea was simple: I leaned on how crazy strong UR Shinn is and paired him with Gold Frame Amatsu, because that combo just works. Even though the Rival battleship is kind of minuscule on stats, it was still “just enough” to get the job done once I set the turns up correctly. I walk through the setup, resets, and the little “trigger finger” mistakes that can throw the timing off—like popping MP Up too early and then having to reactivate later when the duration runs out. I used Penelope with Hway Noah for the Awakening Boost plus the extra follow-up attacks, had Nightingale managing MP, and kept Justice Meteor on team two because it’s still one of the better units for this event. The run gets sketchy when Freedom’s map attack deletes my debuffer (disgusting), but I adjust with range boost, map attacks, and Lock On to lower mobility so I can still connect. At the end, Shinn helps close it out and I prove you can beat this with “quote unquote” F2P teams. Now I’m just grinding the missions I missed for those 500 diamonds whenever they pop up—because yeah, everyone needs diamonds.
