I’m back with another tier list, but this time I’m ranking UR pilots specifically for people who actually care about the pilot value—not just “the unit is cracked.” My whole mindset here is simple: support pilots matter a ton because good support kits are hard to come by, and the summonable support pilots usually give you two support attacks. That’s why I’m heavily prioritizing support development and the overall “package” a pilot brings, not just raw stats. For support attackers, I’m putting Shin, Kira Yamato, and Adaro up top because they basically hand you everything you want—stuff like Attack Burst, Range Boost, High Speed, and especially Sway. Sway is just too good to ignore. On the flip side, that Ashaw/IBO-locked support pilot is an instant D tier for me because needing to pilot an Iron-Blooded Orphans unit just to get the second support attack is a deal breaker. On the defensive side, I only really respect pilots that give two support defenses—Mika, Yona, and ELO. Even then, Yona edges ELO out because Yona actually has a defensive kit (like Foresight) while ELO’s kit is basically “bro, really?” energy charge/repair stuff. For DPS pilots, I’m biased toward Setsuna and Char because they’re the only standard pilots giving two extra chance steps, and then I round out the top options with more Sway-heavy picks like Zeon SH, Master Asia, and Origin Char.
