In this video I’m answering the real question everybody has: is it actually worth dropping about 3 million Capital (plus Ultimate medals) to max upgrade the new Gundam X-series Ultimate unit, Gundam Belphagor. I fully upgraded it and then put it straight into a test run so we can see what you’re really getting for that investment. The big thing you need to understand is the advantage ability only works against the Gundam X series—so if you’re fighting stuff like C-series, O, Wing, Zeta, etc., you’re not getting that extra 30% attack and defense. When it does work, though, the damage can get disgusting. The unit has great power, good crit damage, and between the kit and ability you can stack crit damage up to the point where those numbers start adding up fast. Range 1–3 definitely sucks, but the tags are really solid—Tough as Nails and the new Time Machine—so you can pair it with a battleship setup that spikes stats hard (I’m using that 44% boost). I ran a full X-series style team to see the performance, and even with some “fraud” moments like getting caught out of range, I still saw a 2.6 million damage pop. For me, yeah, the upgrade feels justified because I can see myself using it in future Eternal Road/X-series content.
