In this video I do a quick breakdown of the new UR AGE-2 Normal, UR AGE-1 Normal, and the new battleship Diva, mainly to answer the real question: are they worth summoning right now? My honest take is still no for most people, because anniversary is literally around the corner and they’re dropping the roadmap next month on the 24th. If you’re free-to-play, I really don’t think you should be gambling your diamonds here—especially if you’re not sitting near that ~90k sweet spot where you can basically guarantee what you want. Kit-wise, AGE-2 Normal is a limited support and the “package” with Asuno Aseno feels very similar to Unicorn Awakening support, but with its own twist. You can ramp MP fast and set up early support attacks, plus you’re bringing a nasty 40% beam damage taken debuff, which is still a big deal. The downside is the unit’s conditionals are kinda niche (pilot-tag based like Newtype/X-Rounder) and a lot of its tags feel dead. AGE-1 Normal feels more “average,” but it has some interesting counter/support-DPS leaning design, and it benefits from strong tag/battleship access (that 44% stab ship is huge). I also cover Diva being standard (not limited), plus the new units in the banner, and why overall this is more of a “plain reliable” banner than a must-summon.
