In this quick update, I’m going over the third free gift we got from the Hathaway movie release, and this time it’s Gigi Andalucia as an SSSR pilot. I took a look at her details and I’m not gonna lie—she’s actually quite good, especially if you’re looking for a durability pilot for Char’s Counterattack units and Hathaway’s Flash units. For a free-to-play pilot, her stats aren’t terrible at all, and the big value is what she brings when she’s piloting units from the specific series. The main highlight is her Support Defense +1 when she’s on Char’s Counterattack / Hathaway’s Flash stuff, which finally gives certain units a solid partner option. It’s a nice pairing situation for a bunch of those suits that needed it, and if you skipped the Kshatriya/Penelope banner and still want a tanky direction, she’s probably one of the best F2P options you can grab right now. I do wish her character skills were better though—something like Force Guard would’ve been huge. I also cover the upcoming Master League theme shift into a Gundam Fight motif. Reward-wise it looks basically the same, but from Season 9 onward they’re updating the event screen design and adding more atmosphere, including the option for players with Music Pack Volume 2 to swap in Gundam BGM during battles, which is honestly pretty cool.
