In this video, I finally gave in and SSP’d Astray Gold Frame Amatsu for laughs & giggles, then took it straight into that Seed series stage you guys are definitely no stranger to. The whole point was to test a combo idea with Shin Asuka—once I trigger into the EX character ability, I’m trying to get that “quote unquote” dodging online because this stage just throws a ton of attacks at you. I’m not going in solo though; I brought supplementary units to help stabilize the run and keep the experiment moving. The big issue I was worried about was energy across the board. Gold Frame Amatsu is popping expensive attacks (Beam Saber, Offensive Shield System, and more), and when you’re fighting like 30–40 enemies, that cost racks up fast. That’s why I’m running energy restoration support (Test Type battleship, Seed series energy rest) and some defensive bodies—because you can’t rely solely on evasive RNG, even when you’re sitting around that 59% dodge chance. And yeah… we failed some “hyro” rolls hard (even a 48%), which ended up costing us at the end when we barely missed the kill on the enemy Gold Frame. Concept is cool, but if you want it more “doable,” I’d have Hyperion go kamikaze at the end to debuff and push the last bit of damage.
