In this video, I jumped on the brand new Age 1 / Age 2 banner in SD G Generation Eternal so you don’t have to—because yeah, we’re right before anniversary and I’m literally digging myself a grave summoning when I’m out here telling people not to. The setup is simple: H2 is the limited-time banner unit, H1 is the standard banner unit, and you can also get tickets from panel missions, so you really don’t “need” to hard summon if you can just luck out on tickets. I went in with 72k diamonds (which is honestly the most I’ve had in one sitting in a while) and recorded straight on my iPad, so you’ll hear me reacting to the in-game audio and fighting the lag the whole time. The wild part: I hit H2 on the second multi. After that, I basically had to ask myself if I should just quit while I’m ahead, because chasing more right now is exactly how you blow diamonds for no reason. I also talk a bit about the unit kit—H1 having a map attack that’s basically the same style as Master Gundam and Phoenix Gundam—and why I wasn’t sure it was worth pushing further. I did two extra multis to see if I could snag the new Age-series battleship (Diva), but overall the takeaway is still the same: don’t spend needless diamonds before anniversary—let my pulls satisfy the summon itch.
