In this one, I’m doing some quick, preliminary damage testing for Age-1 Normal in SD Gundam G Generation Eternal. I’ll explain how I even got it in the first place (top grossing hit fast, I wanted to keep 60k diamonds, then I used the leftovers and ended up pulling both Age-2 and Age-1… but no Diva battleship, so yeah I was a little upset). From there, I set up a comparison that’s at least somewhat fair: Age-1 vs. Narrative (I call it Cassie) and Zeta, since their key EX attacks scale off a mix of ranged, melee, and awakening—so we’re not locked into “this is only a melee test” or “only ranged.” The main takeaway: Zeta looks crazy strong in this specific weapon power/damage preview because of how its kit and HP-driven scaling play out, even before I’m doing anything fancy with categories. I also point out why comparisons are never perfectly “fair” (different pilots, ability activations, limited vs. standard banner differences, and team-based passives like what Flit can enable for Age units). Even so, it’s good to see standard banner units getting better over time—because sniping those is way more realistic than always chasing limited banners.
