I finally cleared the After War Gundam X Series Eternal Road on Expert in SD G Generation Eternal, and this run is basically the same core squad I showcased before with the Gundam X ultimate units. I walk through the exact unit setup and the little module tweaks I made on the fly—like stacking 12% where it matters (DX with G Falcon, plus my “one shot killer” setup) and beefing up Astron with a 12% defense option since I don’t have an extra star for it. The big caveat is I’m using the limited Tupp Battleship, and I’m not gonna sugarcoat it: that huge 36–40% boost is a big part of why this team feels so stable. From there, it’s all about clean positioning and tempo. I open with Force Guard, line up support attacks, and use the DX map attack when the formation is perfect—just keep in mind there’s no crit rate increase on map attacks, so you can’t abuse that 45% crit damage the way you’d want. After phase one, I’m mostly managing blocks, taking the right hits, and making sure I pop the last healing so the rest of the run is controlled. By the end, the ultimate units are doing disgusting work—around 2.6 million damage—so much so that I don’t even need support attacks to close it out.
