In this video I finally take on Char’s Counterattack Expert Eternal Road using development/other (basically F2P) units, because it was long overdue. I quickly break down the squads and the roles: Penelope is my main attacker and the “big goal” for the run, backed by Full Armor Hyakushiki for defense and Elizu for quick debuffs when I need to push damage. The other core pieces are my bread-and-butter setup with Nu Gundam, Sazabi, and a Hi-Nu setup, plus I’m running a 12% module to squeeze out more value. The stage itself isn’t “hard,” but it’s super technical. A lot of the run is about clean positioning—making sure the Nine Gill funnel blocks aren’t messing up your attacks, spreading enemies so they don’t chain support defense, and managing momentum so you don’t get hit with attack down. I walk through the key turns, when I choose to block instead of swing, and how I line up debuffs into my big damage windows. Penelope ends up doing really well, Hi-Nu comes in clutch, and even though a couple units go downhill, they still did what they needed to do to get the clear.
