In this one I’m doing some quick damage testing in SD G Generation Eternal, because we finally have two support units that can ramp up to 40% debuffing—Unicorn Awakened for defense down and AGE-2 (H2 Normal) for beam down. I start with the “good old traditional” setup: two 35% debuffs (beam + defense) using UR supports, then I use Destiny as the benchmark so we can see the paper numbers cleanly. Base Destiny is sitting at 162k, and with the double 35% debuff setup it jumps to 285k on paper (even though the target will usually defend and drop it to around 245k). Then I swap in Unicorn Awakened and H2 to test the extra 5% each (40%/40%). Unicorn Awakened basically gets there by default once you trigger it, while H2 needs to be at max MP before it ramps to the full 40% beam down. With both 40% debuffs applied, Destiny’s paper damage goes up to about 306k—roughly ~20k more in this demo. The big question is: is that extra ~20k (plus what H2 brings like an additional support attack) actually worth building around, and do we even need this much debuffing? Let me know—because once we get 40% for special weapons too, we can rerun this and go for the full trifecta.
