About This Video

I recently turned a disgusting, old, dusty bedroom into what I’d call my ultimate gaming + productivity studio, and this video is basically the full vlog of how it happened—from the first day of cleanup all the way to the finished room. I’m using my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for most of it (plus my iPhone here and there) just to keep the workflow easy, and I walk you through the real process: pulling out furniture, dealing with insane dust, prepping the walls, taping trim (because I don’t trust myself), priming, and then painting everything Sherwin Williams Peppercorn. After the paint cured, I started bringing in the fun stuff: the Vernal L-shaped desk in a walnut finish (I wanted a gaming side and a productivity side), matching file cabinets, and acoustic wall panels I had to size and cut. I also installed Graywind Matter-enabled smart blinds that work with HomeKit right out of the box—super easy setup. From there it’s all about the setup details: my editing ultrawide, and my dream gaming monitor—the ASUS PG32UCDM (4K OLED, 32-inch, 240Hz). I also built out a coffee corner with Nanoleaf panels and Divoom pixel art, added a pegboard above my camera workbench for utility, and tackled my first-ever TV mount (shoutout to my uncle for the two-person jobs). It’s not “done” in my head yet, but it’s finally a space I can create in from scratch.
