In this video I reviewed the Gravastar Mercury M2—aka the “cyberpunk mouse”—to see if it can actually challenge my all-time favorite, the Logitech G502. Right away, I’ll say it: I fell in love with the look. The hollowed-out shell and the RGB inside make it a straight-up visual stunner, but it’s also an acquired taste—you're either going to hate it or love it. I also walk through what’s in the box (1K receiver, paracord USB-C cable, adapter, extra skates, grip stickers, etc.) and how the Windows-only software lets you tweak DPI, macros, buttons, and lighting. For performance, the PAW3395 sensor with 1K polling felt locked-in during gaming—no stutters, no noticeable latency, and it kept up in fast situations like my G502 does. Battery life landed around 60 hours for me, which translated to about 2–3 days with heavy gaming. My biggest gripe is ergonomics: the mostly-plastic shell can slip in my hand, and I had to hold it kind of awkwardly (I’ve got chubby, medium-sized hands). My verdict is “try it out”—the performance is solid, and the RGB/desk-setup vibes are honestly a huge part of the appeal.
