I haven’t had a new desk in over five years, so when FlexiSpot gave me the chance to do an honest review, I couldn’t say no. In this video I fully swap my old setup over to the FlexiSpot E5 Standing Desk in that solid wood texture Black Walnut (72x30), and I walk you through the whole process—from unboxing and assembly to getting everything back on the desk. Assembly was straightforward and took me about 30 minutes, but my biggest tip is to have a second person there because the tabletop and legs are heavy. Also, I seriously wish I bought casters before building it. After setup, I dig into the features that matter for a real gaming/tech workstation: the dual motor lift, the height range (24.4" to 50"), the advanced keypad with presets and stand reminders, and of course the wobble test with a ton of gear on top. The E5 handled my heavy setup like a champ, stayed pretty stable, and the motor was smooth and basically silent compared to my old desk. The feature I praised the most was the anti-collision system—because I’ve had close calls before, and this one actually saved me when I left my chair under the desk.
