About This Video

In this senior study vlog at UBC, I’m basically doing the classic “midterms + paper + Vancouver as a reward” combo. I start the day on campus with a midterm review appointment, and honestly… it was kind of funny because I genuinely didn’t understand some of the questions (and I didn’t even get why the correct answers were correct). It was a good reminder that if I’m confused now, I need to actually go back and review my notes properly before finals—no coasting. After that, I camp out at the library to grind out a final paper, which is always a little painful as a comp sci major because writing does not come easy to me. I go from a couple hundred words to 950, push through to finish, and I’m so excited to submit that I barely want to proofread—I just want it gone. Then it’s a little self-care day: cherry blossoms, beach time, reading, and one of my favorite “use up everything in the fridge” dinners (chicken pot pie). I also share a Facebook Marketplace win (a KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment for $40 instead of $120) and end with new grad job apps at a cafe—because yes, the market has been slow and I haven’t been hearing back much.
