In this room makeover episode, I finally finished the rest of my bedroom to match my dream desk setup from the last video. I pulled a bunch of Pinterest inspo (light + airy, but with different color palettes because my “favorite style” changes every five minutes), sketched a plan, then started sourcing pieces in a way that wouldn’t make my room look like an Ikea showroom. I built a super affordable low bed frame from Facebook Marketplace ($90… such a steal), added cozy bedding, and did an Ikea run for essentials like a mirror and lighting. The biggest projects were my art wall and the “coziest lighting” setup. I stayed up at 1am mapping the collage with my iPad + projector, then actually hung everything the next day (including thrifted art, old canvases I painted, and a postcard). I also installed an entryway wall organizer (command strips failed… so yes, I drilled), swapped in a smart ceiling light, and committed to floating shelves above my bed even though everyone warned me about earthquakes. The final result is basically two vibes blended together: earthy wood tones on one side, and light pink/pastel cozy on the other—and somehow it works.
