About This Video

Interviews are probably the worst thing ever (like, so much worse than exams), so in this cozy coding study vlog I’m taking you along for a productive week in my life while I prep for a new grad software engineer interview in 3 days. I start with behavioral prep at a coffee shop—because I feel like people forget about it—and I focus on coming in with clear reasons for why I want the company beyond the obvious stuff (culture, WFH, cool people). Then it’s back home for a “crap ton” of LeetCode, because system design + coding + behavioral is truly the whole shebang. To keep myself sane, I also do little life resets and Vancouver things in between the grind: happy hour with friends, skiing (with chaotic visibility and frozen hair), and beach walks/picnics when the sun finally comes out and seasonal depression starts to lift. On interview day I’m honestly freaking out—my stomach is in knots—and I fully blame my giant matcha mistake (eight spoons… don’t do that). After the interview, I go for a run to clear my head, grab a sweet treat, and end the week with tiny joys (like my 100-day CodyCross streak).
