Mechanical lovers and magnetic fans—this one’s for you. In this video I do a full honest review of the Womier SK75 TMR, a hybrid board that basically breaks the “one switch type = one keyboard” rule. I go over what you actually get in the box (manual, USB-C cable, puller, extra switches/keycaps, dongle, dust cover), the look and build (full aluminum, glittery body that doesn’t shed, clean minimalist branding, mirror back plate), and the RGB—which is surprisingly good in the dark. Then I tear it down and show you what’s really inside: the FR4 positioning plate, cutout foam style you see in a lot of aluminum boards, the PCB, and the battery setup (two 4,000 mAh cells). Womier claims four dampening layers, but from what I found, it’s basically three sound layers plus the common PET separation sheet at the base. I also talk about the software: it works, but it feels barebones and clunky. Finally, I do a sound test and compare the Otimu T switches vs Womier’s newer “void” switches. The T switches are a bit more silent and hollow, while the void switches are more marbly/poppy and sound nicer to me. My verdict: even with flaws (spacebar/stab access is annoying, software needs work, and the layer count doesn’t match the listing), the keyboard is still a solid value—especially around ~$100 on sale—with 8,000 Hz polling and a huge 8,000 mAh battery.
