In this video, I’m checking out two new switches sent over by StacksKB, and we’re keeping it simple: how they feel, how they sound, and what makes each one worth considering. If you’re new to switches, I also mention that you should first understand what switches are (I’ve got a separate video for that) because picking the right switch is honestly the biggest “keyboard upgrade” you can do without changing the board. I tested the Click Inc HP tactile switches (Holy Panda inspired) and the Click Inc OF linear switches. My final thoughts: the HP switches are good sounding soft tactiles with a bouncy typing feeling, and they don’t feel hard like a lot of other tactiles. The OF linears are smooth, light to type on, and have that toky sound—these were probably my favorite of the two, especially if you want something easy on the fingers for fast typing.
