About This Video

This weekend vlog is basically my first “free” weekend after exams… but not really, because I still have an English hand-in assessment due super soon (a vodcast on Othello) and I had basically no progress at the start. I take things a bit slower as a homebody, but I’m still juggling YouTube edits, school prep, and the usual housekeeping reset. I make a rolled omelette (four eggs for protein), get some editing done, and then do a proper room clean because my room honestly declined day by day during exams. A big highlight is the new tech I’ve been using: UPERFECT’s UColor O2 portable monitor (16-inch, 3K OLED, 120Hz). I’ve been editing on my MacBook for portability, and adding a second screen that I can bring anywhere is genuinely a game changer for my workflow—especially for previewing colours and editing smoothly. After a rough night of slow planning, I switch settings and take the monitor to Green Square Library, where I finally lock in, build a scaffold, and start feeling like everything’s aligning. To wind down, I try my sister’s Nintendo Switch 2 and play Mario Kart World—everything feels smoother, the screen is bigger, and the new mechanics actually make it harder (but lowkey fun). The main takeaway: when you’re overwhelmed, a reset + a change of setting can be the difference between “no direction” and real progress.
