About This Video

In this video, I’m spending a productive Saturday home alone (with the doggies, of course) and trying to balance school work with creative projects so I don’t hit that study-burnout wall. I start super early around 8:30am because the morning sun was actually so nice, even though Sydney randomly dropped from like 27 degrees to 10 and I got the sniffles. I feed the dogs (yes, with lamb, veggies, and a spoon of rice because we’re Asian) and make myself spam & eggs, then I do some English reading while I eat. After that, I head upstairs for a proper study session—mainly condensing my Studies of Religion course notes into tables so I can “pick and choose” what I need for responses (I was writing about Jewish ethical teachings). Then I switch into creative mode and start learning Procreate for my thumbnails and editing style, because I’ve been wanting my videos to feel more personal and authentic. Later, I reset the house with chores, accidentally nap, then get back into modern history (the Desert War in North Africa in WWII). To end the day, I knit to clear my mind—my “beanie” turns into a weird Shrek vest situation, but it’s still a cozy win. Overall: alternating work + hobby genuinely helps me stay productive without burning out.
