This week’s homebody vlog starts mid-week with me doing math homework on the train (as always) and juggling a bunch of assessment prep. Before I add anything new to my room, I wanted to reset properly—so I spent the first part cleaning everything: making my bed, tackling my chaotic closet (winter clothes everywhere), decluttering random birthday stuff, and wiping down my desk because having a clean space is genuinely so important for studying. I also squeezed in dinner at home and a quick gym session to end the night, because it’s nice to do your work first before relaxing. On Thursday, the main desk upgrade happens: I dismantle my old flimsy monitor arms (the cable paths were so tedious) and install the COFO Zero Gravity monitor arms. The packaging felt super high quality, the parts were easier to work with, and I loved details like the top clamp (no need to go under the desk), sliding cable covers, and the slide-and-lock mechanism. I did have to problem-solve because the arm felt a bit big for my specific desk layout, but I made it work and hid the side view with a book stand and plants. To finish the makeover, I set up a budget-friendly Fenton record player and finally played my Laufey and grentperez vinyls—cozy, clean, and way more comfortable to work at.
