About This Video

Welcome back to highschool afterhours — episode 7. In this week’s vlog, I’m basically trying to get my life together after coming out of a 3-week break, so a lot of it is me balancing school days with editing, studying, and just doing the little habits that make everything feel more manageable. I start the week with a proper reset: eating a big dinner (because I genuinely don’t eat much during the school day) and locking in on editing with headphones on — rough cuts, on-screen text, b-roll, sound effects, and my usual keyframed zooms. I also talk about why I’m choosing sleep over forcing extra work, because an actual 8 hours matters when the week gets long. As the days go on, I squeeze in English work (we’re doing Othello + critical theory, and yes… Shakespeare is actually interesting), do some math homework (trig in radians — usually the subject that hits me the hardest with homework), and keep up my night routine with shower + skincare. Midweek is also dance-heavy: I’ve been preparing for 6–7 weeks for a K-pop showcase, and we’re learning a TXT “Chasing That Feeling” dance break with an 8-member formation, so there’s a lot of adapting and running it at different speeds. Then we end on a cozy birthday dinner with my family (Burger Point is literally like an Australian Jollibee), cake, and an early night before an excursion — productive, tired, but really happy to be back.
