In this video I’m sharing something very recent and very raw in my life: following Jesus is already costing me friendships. After more than 10 years in self-discovery and New Age spirituality—searching for God while rejecting religion and church—I had this moment where everything I believed felt like a building exploding. I realized I had been entertained by deception, and the peace I spent years trying to find came in seconds. I talk about how fragile relationships can be when they’re built on shared beliefs, and what happens when that belief system changes. I share a real conversation with a friend where I tried to explain that some spiritual practices open doors we don’t understand, and how quickly I was labeled “extremist” or “religious” for saying the Bible is the only place to find the true words of Jesus. I also explain why New Age can look “beautiful,” “high vibration,” and loving—because I was there, and I know most people are genuine. I’m not trying to be a preacher. I’m a baby in this, but I’m diving deep into God’s Word like a nerd when I get passionate. This is my testimony, planting a seed, and thanking you—because I truly believe your prayers helped bring me here.
