It’s fully wireless, officially licensed, and it leans hard into style with customizable RGB lighting (eight zones!), plus TMR thumbsticks, motion controls, a dedicated C Button for GameChat, and up to 20 hours of battery life. I walk through how it feels out of the box, how the lighting looks in-person and on camera, and why it’s a legit alternative if you don’t want to splurge on the official Switch 2 Pro Controller. But I don’t just talk specs—I put it into real gameplay. I used it across Mario Kart, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, and the big takeaway is that it stays comfortable and reliable, with accurate inputs and a strong low-latency connection out to around 30 feet. I also cover the trade-offs versus the Pro Controller: the Home and Plus buttons are swapped, there’s no HD rumble, the triggers feel different, and the biggest downside for me is you can’t wake the Switch 2 with the Home button. Still, if you want something stylish, comfortable, and feature-packed for mid-tier money, it’s hard not to like.
