Wonder Talking Flower toy… the chatty little flower that comments on everything in the game, now officially bloomed into the real world. Nintendo has made some weird stuff over the years, but I genuinely think this one takes the cake. I go hands-on with the design, the desk-friendly size, and all the little details that make it feel less like a toy and more like a proper Mario collectible you’d actually want sitting next to your Switch setup. I also break down what it actually does: it runs on 2 AA batteries, has a simple menu system, and lets you set the time, an alarm, and even change the language. And yes… it’s talkative. Very talkative. You can trigger voice lines with the button, but it’ll also chime in randomly on its own, exactly like it does in Mario Wonder — which is hilarious until you’re editing at your desk and it decides to “help.” On top of that, it announces the time every hour, has quiet hours plus a mute mode, and even includes a Music/Wonder Mode that plays tunes inspired by the game. Quirky, unnecessary, and somehow perfect — that’s the whole Nintendo vibe, and this thing nails it.
