Then life got in the way again. I've done this more times than I can count. But I always came back to this one specific game. And after 18 months of unemployment, thousands of job applications, and the slow collapse of a 20 year career in web development — I finally understand why. The game is called Goth Girls vs The Goo. It's a fast paced action platformer with a dark gothic aesthetic, original music composed by me, and a world I've been building in my head for years. It's pixel art. It's atmospheric. It's a little campy. And it is completely, unapologetically mine. This video is the announcement. The commitment. The line in the sand. I'm not stopping this time. 💬 Have you ever had a creative project you kept coming back to no matter how many times life interrupted it? Drop it in the comments — I want to know what it is. 🔔 Subscribe to follow the development of Goth Girls vs The Goo — devlogs, game dev journey, and honest dispatches from someone building something entirely their own. #indiegamedev #indiegame #pixelart #gamdev #actionplatformer #construct3 #gothgame #indiegamedeveloper #devlog #gamedevlog #pixelartgame #indiegames #gamedevelopment #gothicgames #solodev #indiedev #soloindiedev #gameannouncement #pixelartist #indiegamecommunity #gothic #goth #gothculture #newgame #gamedevjourney #construct3tutorial #indiegamedevlog #solodevlog #buildinginpublic #newgameannouncement
