In this video I’m reviewing the Josie Maran Whipped Mud Mask collection (the hydrating, detoxifying mud masks with 100% argan oil) and walking you through how each one applies, how it feels on my skin, and what I personally loved (or didn’t understand) about the process. These masks are meant to help with pores, firmness, elasticity, and dryness, and I like that they’re marketed for all skin types—because as a busy mom, I need skincare that feels simple but still does something. I go mask by mask: Lavender Citrus is the thickest and one of my favorites because of the consistency, the little beads, and that tingly spa-like feel. Sweet Citrus is “lovely” and very feminine, and I even recommend chilling it in the fridge because it applies like a cool gel moisturizer. Vanilla Apricot surprised me (I was low-key scared it would tint me orange), but it dried well and didn’t leave me orange. Sweet Basil Mint is my other top favorite—minty but not overpowering—and it’s the one I’d do before a big event for that clarity/strength vibe. Cucumber Aloe was the most fun to apply, smells amazing, and I love the reminder behind it: tranquility, rest, and vitality.
