About This Video

In this paint with me, I’m doing cozy watercolor studies and just letting the process be super chill and low-pressure. I’m focusing on portrait/face practice (little studies that feel doable), playing with soft washes, and building up values slowly so the features feel more dimensional without overworking everything. It’s very much a “take your time, enjoy the page” kind of session—perfect if you want something calming to put on while you paint along with me. I’m also featuring Paul Rubens watercolors in this video, so you’ll see how I use them for these small studies and how I layer and blend to keep things gentle and glowy. I included timestamps so you can jump between chapters depending on what you feel like watching. If you want the exact vibes, my reference pics are on my Pinterest, and I always love hearing your recommendations for what I should draw/paint next—leave them in the comments for me ♡
