In this video I’m basically doing a cozy little “acrylic markers for a week” art diary, featuring Arrtx markers that I’ve been using for weeks now (and yes… I’m obsessed). I test and draw with the Simptap set and the 36-color acrylic markers, and I also swatch/play with the metallic set—just seeing how vibrant the colors are, how rich the pigmentation looks on paper, and how smoothly the ink flows when I’m doing face studies and sketchbook-style pages. My main takeaway is that these markers feel super easy to pick up and just create with—especially if you like chill draw-with-me sessions where you don’t want to fight your materials. I focus on how they layer, how blendable they feel for quick shading, and how satisfying they are for bold details and highlights (the metallics are so fun for that). If you’re building a cozy sketchbook routine and want something that looks vibrant on watercolor paper/ISO paper, this is the week of drawings that convinced me I need to keep using them.
