About This Video

Today we did something that is equal parts “art challenge” and “why did we think this was a good idea” — we played Pictionary blindfolded. It’s just Ashley & Kylie (Opal & Mint) taking turns trying to draw recognizable prompts while we literally cannot see the paper. Which means: lots of confident lines, immediate regret, and then laughing so hard we can’t breathe. Even though this isn’t a formal supply review, it’s still such a fun reminder of how much drawing is about muscle memory and simplifying shapes. When you can’t rely on your eyes, you start thinking in big silhouettes, basic placement, and “what is the one detail that makes this thing read?” It’s also a really low-pressure way to loosen up before painting — like a warm-up that gets you out of perfection mode fast. If you want a cozy, chaotic creative game night idea (or a way to shake off art block), this one is it.
