About This Video

Hey friends! In this video, we switch things up from our usual watercolor swatching and art supply testing and jump into a kid’s craft: making clay jewelry bowls. Ashley & I go into it with big “this will be so cute and relaxing” energy… and then it gets chaotic (in the most fun way). We talk through what we’re trying to make, how we’re shaping the bowls, and all the little surprises that pop up when you’re working with clay and trying to keep it cute. Even though this isn’t a watercolor review, it’s still very “us”—creative experimenting, figuring it out as we go, and laughing when things don’t go perfectly. If you’ve been wanting an easy craft idea to do with kids (or honestly just for a chill afternoon), these little trinket/jewelry dishes are such a fun project. The biggest takeaway: don’t overthink it, embrace the mess, and you’ll end up with something adorable and handmade—imperfections and all.
