About This Video

Hey friends! In Part 4 of swatching ALL the Daniel Smith watercolors, I’m back at it with more colors, more little surprises, and honestly… more shades I suddenly “need” in my life. This series has been such a fun (and slightly dangerous) way to see what these paints actually look like on paper—because tube color and real swatches are not the same thing. I’m focusing on getting clean, consistent swatches so I can compare colors side-by-side and figure out what’s truly palette-worthy for me. The big takeaway from this part is that I’m getting super close to the finish line, and it’s making me think hard about my next palette build. Swatching like this helps me spot which colors feel unique, which ones overlap, and which ones I keep gravitating toward. I’d love for you to tell me your favorites from this part, because I’m about to make a new palette soon and I need help narrowing down the “I want them all” problem.
