Inspiring Future Healthcare Leaders: Ochsner’s STEM Pathfinder Program

Launched in 2021 in New Orleans East, Ochsner’s STEM Pathfinder program offers students entering grades 9–11 a cost-free, hands-on introduction to healthcare and science careers. Through mentorship from Ochsner professionals, participants explore clinical skills training, take part in lab experiments, and gain real-world experience in a supportive learning environment. What began in New Orleans East has now expanded to Baton Rouge, St. Charles Parish, Shreveport, Monroe, and Lafayette. Empowering students across Louisiana to discover their passion for healthcare.
