Teurlings Catholic High School quarterback Alex M. suffered a tear to his MCL during a crucial playoff game. After toughing out the final two games of the season, Alex underwent surgery at Ochsner Lafayette General Andrews Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. Orthopedic surgeon Brian Etier, MD, repaired Alex's knee and guided his recovery through a targeted physical therapy program. Alex returned to the field feeling stronger than ever, leading his team to an 11-1 season and signing a scholarship with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
