About This Video

In this video I review the Rose Technics QT9 MK3 and explain why I think it’s one of the most compelling bright, vocal-centric IEMs you can buy right now under $200 (price keeps moving, so I’m calling it “sub-$200”). This is a 1DD + 4BA hybrid that basically lives for upper-mid energy—think vibrant female vocals, tons of presence, and that “sparkly, detail-first” presentation that I personally enjoy. I go through the full unboxing, build/fit, sound impressions, comparisons, and my final verdict. The big headline: this is one of the most complete IEM packages I’ve seen at any price. You get a boatload of tips and accessories, replacement nozzle filters, a solid case, and yes—an actual bundled dongle DAC (Rose Technics RZ-550). Sound-wise, the QT9 MK3 is bright-neutral with a lot of upper mids (it can get borderline hot), clean and mature bass that doesn’t intrude into the mids, and a treble that’s airy and edgy—definitely not for treble-sensitive listeners. Technicalities are the main selling point here: crazy detail, resolution, and surprisingly good dynamics for the price, making it a “vocal lover’s dream” if you’re into energy and clarity over warmth and musicality.
