Sound-wise, I call this a modern V-shape that leans warm: clean bass shelf, linear slightly-warm mids, and a more mature take versus the old-school “bright + big bass” V. For most genres I listen to, it just works, and that’s the best compliment I can give it. The main caveat is the treble: there’s an audible 8k spike that can get edgy, especially on rougher mixes, and it can even give an occasional low-res effect depending on the track and your sensitivity.
