In this video I take an in-depth look at the NiceHCK NX8, and yeah—this is arguably the best hybrid NiceHCK has ever made, and easily one of the most compelling picks under $200. I go through the full unboxing (which is honestly super satisfying with that celestial theme), talk build and fit, then spend most of the time where it matters: the sound. The NX8 is a tribrid setup (1DD + 6BA + 1PZT), but what makes it special to me isn’t just the driver count—it’s how cohesive and balanced it sounds for a hybrid in this price range. Sound-wise, I’d call it a balanced, pretty traditional “good hybrid” tuning done right: great sub-bass extension, a gentle mid-bass glide (not scooped), warm and full mids, and a treble that can sparkle without getting overly irritating. It’s a versatile, chill, musical set that still has enough technical chops to keep things interesting, and it handles a lot of genres without me constantly worrying about pairing. I also do comparisons (P5+2, QT9 MKII, EA100, Falcon Ultra), then wrap it up with my final score (6.29 total, 6 enjoyment) and a “Bam Obi approved” because I genuinely enjoyed this one.
