Even though I’m mostly an IEM channel, I actually started with headphones (shoutout to my old SR850), so this one felt like coming back home. In this video I review the Sivga SV021, aka the Sivga Robin—my “fancy pants” $150 closed-back that made me rethink what budget headphones can look and feel like. I go through the unboxing, the build, the comfort, and why this thing is honestly one of the most premium-feeling options you’ll find at the price. Sound-wise, the Robin is a classic V-shape done in a way that I personally call fun, not bloat. You get big, punchy bass, a forward upper-mid presentation, and a treble that’s sparkly and surprisingly detailed—especially for $150. It’s not the most technical headphone I’ve heard, but it’s more than capable for imaging and basic positioning, and it’s crazy enjoyable across genres. Pop in particular is where it really shines. I also compare it to the Audio-Technica AVA500: wider and more neutral-bright, but cheaper-feeling, clampier, and less bassy. If you want a comfortable, casual, all-day closed-back that just makes you enjoy music, the Robin is an easy recommendation from me.
