I’ve always loved cars and I’ve been building PCs for years, so I had a wild idea: what if I could trade my way up from a single gaming PC build to a sports car? In this episode I’m finishing the final “trade PC” build for my PC-to-JDM-car series—cleaning up my space, throwing the parts together, and locking in because this is the biggest flip I’ve ever done. I’m talking Ryzen 9 7950X3D on AM5, an ASUS Strix board, DDR5, a 1TB SSD, and a monster RTX 4080 that’s honestly huge compared to my head. The night before the road trip I’m exhausted, but we’re this close to greatness. Next morning we head to New Jersey to make the trade… with some chaos on the way (the PC was booting but not taking keyboard input), and I even forgot my camera so a lot of the trip was shot on my phone. On the highway a McLaren pulls up behind us like it’s nothing—straight motivation. We check the car out, test drive it, and I’m calling out real driving tips (don’t flood the engine, keep it around 2,000 RPM, it’s a high-rev car).
