About This Video

In this video I’m basically just yapping (I was up till like 5am, so yeah) but it’s real: I’m talking money, bad habits, and me trying to fix my financial literacy while I’m still young. I break down where I’m at financially without getting too deep into exact paychecks—like Google says the average 18-year-old makes around 35k a year, and I made about a quarter of that in 6 months. Over the last 12 months I’ve made around 20ish thousand just off my job and reselling PCs, not even counting content creation. The biggest thing I’m calling myself out on is I don’t save like I should. I know how to save—I’ve bought a car before—so it’s not that I’m clueless, it’s mindset and routine. I talk about locking in, cleansing the negative noise, and flipping that “I have it so I’ll spend it” mentality. I also get into credit: if you use it right it can treat you right, but if you use it wrong you’re gonna be working crazy hours just to pay debt back. My main takeaway is simple: I’m 18, and if I lock in now, a few years of hard work can put me years ahead. Same goes for content—people only see the light part; the start is the hardest, and you gotta outwork everybody if you really want the next level.
