About This Video

In this video I show you how I built a fully automated video production pipeline that takes me from a raw script to a finished, edited video without me sitting in a chair for hours. The stack is simple: HeyGen for the avatar (specifically Avatar 5), ElevenLabs for a voice clone that actually sounds like me, and Remotion for stitching clips together and adding motion graphics. And yes—my intro “reveal” is an AI clone I made fast, but I’m not switching my whole YouTube channel to avatars. I like making videos. The point is what this unlocks for short-form, course lessons, ads, and any business that needs consistent output. The real magic is using Claude Code as the orchestration layer. I had it chunk long scripts into ~45–60 second segments (so the voice doesn’t degrade), generate audio in ElevenLabs, sync it in HeyGen, then run ffmpeg + Remotion to assemble everything with timed captions/graphics based on transcription. There are limitations (Avatar 5 isn’t available via API yet), so I show the workaround: generate via Avatar 4 and use Playwright to switch to Avatar 5 in the dashboard automatically. I also break down objections (authenticity, “AI slop,” editor jobs) and the costs—because it’s not “cheap,” but buying your time back can be a no-brainer if content is your growth engine.
