In part 4 of my Classroom Setup 2025 series, I’m back in my new third grade classroom in Florida doing the kind of behind-the-scenes work that actually makes the whole year run smoother—organizing, sorting, and figuring out where everything is going to live. I’m working through storage solutions (yes, Sterilite bins are involved), setting up systems that are realistic for third graders, and trying to make the room feel functional before it feels “cute.” I also share one of those very real classroom setup moments… an epic fail. If you’ve ever had a plan in your head and then you get to school and it just does not work the way you thought it would, you’ll totally get it. Along the way, I mention resources I’m using for ELA—like my comprehension skill headers—because I like having visuals that keep us consistent with skills and routines all year. This vlog is a mix of practical organization, teacher-life honesty, and the little decisions that make a big difference once students walk in.
