In this first part of my Blue Thunder build, I’m focusing on the cockpit—getting the basic assembly done and then bringing it to life with lighting. The whole goal here is to make that front office look like it actually belongs in a working helicopter, not just a bunch of plastic parts glued together. I walk through how I approach the cockpit layout and where I want the light to land so the details don’t get lost once everything is closed up. A big part of this video is the cockpit screens.
