In Part III of my Bandai 1/72 A-Wing build, I’m wrapping this project up with the final assembly, then moving straight into the fun part—making it look like it’s actually been out there flying. I walk through getting the last major pieces together cleanly, making sure everything lines up the way it should before I start beating it up with weathering. This is the stage where a build can go from “looks like a model” to “looks like a real ship,” so I’m taking my time and keeping it controlled. After assembly, I get into weathering and damage to add depth, grime, and that used Star Wars feel. I’m focusing on the kind of wear that makes sense for an A-Wing—subtle buildup, scuffs, and battle wear without going totally overboard. Then I finish it off with the completed build reveal so you can see how all the steps come together as one finished piece.
