What’s up everyone, David here from MixbusTV. In this video I’m checking out the brand new Softube Flow Studio—an insanely compact controller that gives you hands-on control over Flow Mixing and Flow Mastering. The whole point is speed and creativity: big changes with a few knobs, without over-tweaking and without needing to know every technical detail inside each plugin. Flow gives you access to 20+ of Softube’s best plugins inside proven chains, and Flow Studio makes those chains feel like an instrument with multi-function knobs, a big Flow knob to scroll/apply the whole preset, and super clear visual feedback with color coding and rings. I walk you through the three modes: Flow mode (stay in the creative zone and just “mix”), Detail mode (deep control of each processor with pages/rows and one-to-one movement with the plugin UI), and DAW mode. I’m on Pro Tools, so DAW mode is more limited because it’s using HUI, but you still get useful track navigation plus input/output metering on the hardware. Then I demo it on my own MixbusTV Flow pack presets like Modern Two Buses, Modern Pop Vocals, and a Modern Drum Bus—showing how fast it is to go from zero processing to a polished sound, and then jump into Detail mode when you want to fine-tune.
