In this video I’m showing you the new Forte AI update called F Music, and it’s basically a godsend time saver if you’re mixing in Pro Tools (and it also works in Logic). You probably remember the original Forte: one click and it automates mix prep—importing tracks into my template, strip silence, fixing “mono printed as stereo,” color coding, renaming, and routing everything to the correct buses. F Music takes that whole idea and makes it a million times better because now it handles the bounce/export side too. I walk you through how I set up custom prints like drums, instrumental, and acapella by linking everything to my session routing (music bus, all vocal bus, etc.). The categories auto-select the right tracks based on your bus structure, and the new favorite prints let me reuse the same bounce setups across multiple songs without rebuilding anything. The multi-session queue is the crazy part: I can prep and print for a whole EP—open session, import, close, open the next, then bounce all deliverables in multiple formats (like 44.1/16 and 48/32) while I literally sit back and do nothing. The key takeaway: keep your template routing consistent, refresh session if you change routing, and this thing will save you hours of repetitive work.
