In this little Vlogmas catch-up (Days 3 & 4), I’m taking you along for some real-life, vloggy fun alongside my usual sewing brain. I’m cracking on with a “another blooming flower” moment using the Lego flower advent calendar, and it’s honestly such a cosy, low-pressure bit of making—perfect when you want to do something creative without getting the iron out. I also chat about plus-size dressmaking bits and bobs, including the Cashmerette Turner dress pattern. If you’re newer to Cashmerette, I always think it’s a nice place to start because it’s drafted with curves in mind and it takes a lot of the guesswork out of fitting. This vlog is less of a step-by-step tutorial and more of a check-in: what I’m up to, what I’m enjoying, and the kind of projects that keep me motivated through the busy season.
