In this video I’m doing a proper wardrobe declutter and closet cleanout, and I need you right there with me helping me decide: keep or donate? I’m going through my overgrown wardrobe outfit by outfit, trying things on, being honest about what actually gets worn, what fits me comfortably right now, and what’s just taking up space because I’m hanging on to “maybe one day.” It’s part practical (getting my wardrobe organised) and part real-life chat, because let’s be honest—decluttering can be a bit emotional as well. As a plus size sewist, I’m always thinking about fit, comfort, and whether something works with the handmade pieces in my wardrobe. I talk through why certain items stay (they’re useful, they layer well, they make me feel good) and why others need to go (they’re not flattering, they’re annoying to wear, or I’m just not reaching for them). I also mention places like Vinted for passing things on, and I share a polo neck jumper option that’s handy for layering—especially when you want warmth without bulk.
